Muswellbrook Heritage Walk
60-82 Bridge Street Muswellbrook, NSW, 2333, Australia [View Map]The Muswellbrook Heritage Walk tells the story of the town through 26 heritage sites in and around Bridge Street. Gazetted in 1833, Muswellbrook grew around its inns, churches, shops and civic buildings, and many of them still stand today.
This self-guided walk begins at Eatons Hotel and continues past historic hotels, Victorian brick shopfronts, a sandstone merchant’s cottage, a bank and several church precincts.
Visitors can follow the full route or choose the sites that interest them most. The round trip is approximately 4.5 kilometres. Each site is numbered on the Muswellbrook Heritage Walk brochure map, with the history of every building alongside.
